Not all “green” brands are created equal, and not all products in some of our trusty brands are as clean as we expect. Clean, natural, organic and green all have very different meanings each time they’re used. That’s why it’s important to always double check the ingredients and your favorite sources to make sure you’re taking home a product that meets your standards.
I’ve decided to create a new series of posts called CTI (check the ingredients). In this series, I’ll be sharing the products I’ve been surprised to find aren’t as clean as I expected. I’m not sharing them to shame any brands, but to remind you to always #checktheingredients.
Babyganics products had been recommended to me by multiple moms and I’d also seen it at some of my favorite retailers. I was looking to try a new laundry detergent, so I instantly grabbed it when I found it on a supermarket shelf. Right before checkout I scanned it on Think Dirty only to find out it was definitely not what I expected.
