Chia Egg

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAChia eggs might sound funny if you haven’t used them, but I swear that they’re a good alternative when you’re making vegan versions of baked recipes.

If you’re getting into vegan baking, you’ll definitely be using chia eggs and flax eggs soon.

 

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

 

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 tbsp Chia Seeds
  • 2.5 tbsp water

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Combine both ingredients in a small bowl
  2. Let it set until thick ( about 5 minutes)

HOW TO USE:

  • Works in most baking recipes
  • The ratio is usually 1 to 1, but you might have to adjust in some recipes
