I was a loyal bodywash user until I started testing non-toxic Bar Soaps to share with friends that were asking me for non-toxic recommendations. I’m now a loyal bar soap user and reconsidering my use of the word loyal .
For me, a perfect bar soap is one that makes me feel squeaky clean and moisturized, all while smelling amazing. Conventional bar soaps just didn’t do it for me. My skin felt squeaky clean and dry when I used them so I was pleasantly surprised when my non-toxic finds were so much better.
I’ve tried a couple of bar soaps in the last month, and I chose my favorite for the swap below. This Shea Moisture Olive & Green Tea is a really great find. The Shea Butter and Olive and Avocado Oils deeply hydrate and repair dry skin while cleansing it well. The antioxidants in the Green Tea Extract help protect the skin from free radical damage while preventing early signs of aging.
Why is it worth the swap?
