10 Products I Obsessed With My 1st Year of Diccia

Diccia turned one last week!

Lucky is the only word I think that comes close to describing how I feel wrapping up my first year of Diccia.  I’ve been immensely fortunate to have tried a ton of different products, met great people (digitally and personally) and have stepped out of my comfort zone in more ways than I can count.

To mark the end of a great year, and the beginning of what’s bound to be an even better one, I wanted to share with you 10 products that I fell in love with my 1st year of Diccia.

This second-skin concealer is effective, blends well and never looks dry or cakey. It not only conceals imperfections, but also makes my skin look better after.

How I use it:

  • I dab it on with my fingers.
  • I use it on my under-eye circles, blemishes, any scaring or redness.
  • To keep it from moving around in hot weather I always set it with W3ll People’s Realist Invisible Powder.

This blend-able, and buildable cream blush and lipstick makes you glow like you’re blushing.

How I use it:

  • I use my fingers to press onto the apples of my cheeks and blend out towards my ears. If I want more color, I just layer more on.
  • I use the color courtesan because it’s the perfect pop of pink
  • It’s also a great bright lipstick. I sometimes layer it with gloss.
  • On the cheeks, I sometimes set it with W3ll People’s Realist Invisible Powder or Lily Lolo Bronzer in Miami Beach.

  • I apply to my wet face and massage it in circles. I then remove it with a soft cloth or these wipes.

This is one of those products I didn’t even know I needed until I tried it and it’s definitely one of my favorites. I even wrote a whole blog post about how much I loved it. This is the first step whenever I apply makeup for a day or night out.

Though it has no coverage, it makes my complexion look smooth and rested.

How I use it:

  • I apply it on a dry clean face over oil or serum and let dry before applying makeup.
  • Sometimes I complement it with the illuminating eye cream.

  • Before I apply make up I give it a couple of minutes to soak in.

I’m on my third little bottle of this soft and magical fragrance roll-on. I was first drawn to it by the name (11 is my lucky number), but was captivated by the scent. If the 3 x purchase doesn’t convince you it’s magic, the endless compliments I get when I wear it should.

How I use it:

  • I roll a bit on my neck and wrists.
  • Don’t rub it in!

Babo Botanicals Lip Gloss in Guava

I recently rediscovered lip gloss with Social Paint, a great small brand I tried at Indie Beauty Expo and am now, officially a lip gloss person. This one by Babo Botanicals was gifted to me late last year by the brand and I just can’t stop using it.

I’m obsessed because it looks like lipgloss and feels like lipgloss, but somehow magically works like lip balm leaving your lips so so smooth.

How I use it:

  • I apply it alone or over lipstick.

Y et Beaute Lipstick in Lou

If you follow my Instagram Stories it’s no secret I’m obsessed. I’ve been raving about Y et Beaute’s lipstick in Lou for months..

This long lasting lipstick is rich in color, moisturizing and lasts for ever. Lou is a perfect neutral pink and while I like the color, I love love love how it fades.

How I use it:

  • I apply it directly on my lips and then remove a bit with a tissue.

Would love to hear your thoughts if you try any of these!

Tenoverten Nail Polish in Carmine

This gorgeous deep red has been on heavy rotation ever since I got obsessed with it about 6 months ago. It doesn’t hurt that Tenoverten is one of the best cleaner options of nail polishes out there and the color lasts over a week. It’s 8- free, cruelty free and vegan.

How I use it:
